Student NATS (SNATS) Boston is an intercollegiate community of students in the Greater Boston area dedicated to learning more about the profession of voice teaching. The aim of the SNATS Boston consortium is to foster a collaborative organization of students across institutions, connecting and uniting the next generation of voice educators. Currently, SNATS Boston has representation from institutions such as the Berklee College of Music, the Boston Conservatory at Berklee, and the New England Conservatory. If you are interested in joining this exciting community of aspiring voice teachers, please email snatsdirector@natsboston.org for more information.
Students are also encouraged to establish or join existing SNATS chapters at their home institutions for additional benefits. If your school does not currently have a chapter, but you are interested in starting one, you can refer to this website for more information. Adjudication Mentorship Program (AMP): The Adjudication Mentorship Program is an opportunity that occurs during the NATS Boston Student Auditions and is unique to SNATS Boston members. Through this one-on-one program, interested parties are matched with an experienced Student Auditions adjudicator in their desired genre and age category and will be mentored through the adjudication process. Participants will learn what to listen for and how to give constructive feedback with their assigned mentor teacher. All SNATS Boston members will be contacted about this opportunity during the Student Auditions season. Interested in learning more or participating? Please visit the Adjudication Mentorship Program page. |
