Black Lives Matter.
We, the NATS Boston Board, acknowledge our shortcomings with regard to addressing racial disparities in our chapter. Though our community initiatives, we are refocusing our efforts to make this a space of equal opportunity for all voice professionals, regardless of race.
We stand with our Black chapter members and those who have not yet engaged in our community for any reason. We are taking this time to reflect and evaluate who we are and what we stand for so we can be a more inclusive and action-forward community. We are revising our strategic plan and board roles in order to create actionable goals that will focus on access and inclusivity. We look forward to sharing this with you in more detail, as well as ways you can be involved, this summer. Join the NATS Boston Board in affirming, welcoming, and listening to our Black colleagues.
In the meantime, we would love to turn your attention to this list of resources and community organizations who are already committed to doing this important work.
The African American Art Song Alliance
THE FRONT PORCH ARTS COLLECTIVE - The Front Porch Arts Collective of Boston
Decolonizing the Music Room

As our partner members, we invite you to be a part of this process with us. We look forward to hearing from you and continuing to serve this community.
