Adjudication Mentorship Program (AMP)
We are thrilled that the SNATS Adjudication Membership Program returns for its second year! All interested students of NATS Boston teachers are eligible and invited to participate; you will be paired with a mentor in our community and share the adjudicating experience of the first round of NATS Boston's Student Auditions 2022. While SNATS scores will not count in the final tabulation, this is a valuable opportunity to hear singers, assess voices, consider rubrics, and prepare insightful, constructive commentary alongside a master teacher. Participants should expect to give the amount of time listening as designated in the Category/Division rules, as well as an hour virtual meeting with their mentor.
FOR NATS BOSTON TEACHERS:
Do you have quite a bit of adjudicating experience? We are happy to provide this opportunity to pass on your expertise as a SNATS Adjudication Mentor for the 2022 Student Auditions. You do not need to be sending students in order to be a mentor. We are also happy to take your recommendations for any student participants. Please email Hannah Murray at [email protected] by December 19th, 2021.
FOR STUDENTS:
Are you interested in gaining a deeper understanding of how to successfully write adjudication comments? Would you like to have a one on one session on adjudicating with a mentor teacher? Recommended for those studying voice/vocal pedagogy in college and beyond. We have 12-15 spots available in total, and will be assigning on a first come/first served basis. Please email Hannah Murray at [email protected] by December 19th, 2021.
